Jupiter Wagons dividend 2024 record date, amount and payout date – check details

Multibagger railway stock: A mid cap company engaged in the manufacturing of railway freight wagons, passenger coaches, wagon components, is set to reward its shareholders soon. Jupiter Wagons made the announcement while declaring its October-December 2023 results on Monday.
 During the quarter under review, Jupiter Wagons’ profit after tax jumped 79.8 per cent to Rs 83.40 crore while its total income came in at Rs 900.81 crore, up 39.4 per cent YoY. The railway wagons’ maker’s EBITDA in the December 2023 quarter stood at Rs 124.80 crore.

The board of Jupiter Wagons has recently declared an interim dividend of 3% on the face value of Rs 10 per share for the financial year 2023-24. This equates to a payout of Rs 0.30 per equity share.

Jupiter Wagons Dividend Record Date

To ascertain the eligible shareholders for this dividend payout, the Board of Directors has set Thursday, February 29, 2024, as the record date. Jupiter Wagons stated that this date is intended “to ascertain the names of the eligible shareholders / beneficial owners of the Company to whom the aforesaid interim dividend shall be payable.”

The payment of the dividend will be made on or before March 19, 2024.

Jupiter Wagons Share Price Performance

Over the past year, Jupiter Wagons’ stock has experienced a significant surge, appreciating by 290.82% from Rs 97 levels to Rs 380 levels presently. On Thursday, the stock closed at Rs 380.85 per share on the BSE. Its 52-week high stands at Rs 433.95, reached on January 23.

According to BSE analytics, the company’s shares have delivered impressive returns of 854.51% over the last two years and an astounding 1809% over the last three years. As a constituent of the S&P BSE 500, Jupiter Wagons boasts a market capitalization of Rs 15,702.20 crore
